Luke is 15....
Luke turned 15 on the 26th July, we celebrated with a kite boarding lesson and a picnic in true Steptoe style at Paramali beach.
Mum & Keith were amoung the guests along with Henry & Sally.
Foxy was also VIP guest.
The menu as requested by Luke was a full English breafast!!
Amends were made and we ate bacon rolls , sticky sausages, egg mayo with lots of dips & salad in wraps..
Lesson learnt not to take chocolate cake the beach in July, not only the chocolate melted but also the candles!!
A great day was had by all..
Summer in the village
The children have been on holiday since I last posted, I am little greyier but surviving.
We were unfortuanate to loose two of our naughty chickens to a Fox last month.. The fox was later caught by villagers and hung on a telegraph pole.... The Chickens had been warned what would happen if they continued to break out from steptoe's corner.
We have replaced the two chickens with 6 more day old chicks plus 1 white oe which was a gift from the chicken shop!! The chicks are now about 8 weeks old and growing so quick in the heat of the summer. They all seem to have learnt a lesson as they very rarely try to make a break for freedom now. Hopefully our egg supply will soon be resumed, however it has been good to have a break from omelettes.

In Memory of Oscar
It was with great sadness that Oscar died a few weeks after the last posting. Oscar was a rescue puppy that had a very poor start to life, during his short life he was a wonderful companion and was spoilt rotten by Mum & Keith. We will all remember him, he was so cute!!!

A BBQ to welcome Sally & Oscar
Foxy Sally Oscar
Oh dear!! We are all going a little crazy. Sally & Oscar have just been adopted this week by Mummy & Keith so we decided to introduce them to Foxy the dog we adopted back in February. A good day was had by all with Amelia & Oscar trying to win the race to be the dirtiest. Oscar bless him had to go home for a bath, which he apparently really enjoyed, defiantly already living up to his name...Pretty boy!!!
